“Latin America and the Caribbean are and must remain peaceful regions. We join in the call for dialogue and diplomacy to achieve victory in disputed relationships.. This is established by the constitutional principles of our foreign policy and the United Nations Charter,” the SRE chief said.
“Mexico wants to reaffirm the following in this area. the full legitimacy of the declaration of Latin America and the Caribbean as a zone of peace; and our absolute commitment to sovereignty, territorial integrity and national self-determination,” the Prime Minister said.

On behalf of Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum, the Mexican Foreign Minister called for a reaffirmation of political will and a common vision as the region faces challenges such as migration flows and the regulation of digital spaces.
Mr. de la Fuente stressed that cooperation between CELAC and the European Union must go beyond traditional frameworks.
Bi-regional relations do not depend only on traditional cooperation, but on more modern, bold and balanced collaborations that can generate concrete benefits and strengthen cultural, scientific, technological, productive and social capacities. ”
This vision, he said, responds to the urgency of confronting issues such as rising inequality, persistent migration flows and the still uncertain regulation of the digital space.

The Prime Minister also emphasized the historical responsibility of participating countries to act through more effective diplomacy that can provide concrete and perceivable solutions to their peoples.
