PRF said the victims were under the control of the criminals for several hours, attacking and forcing them to loot at various points on the highway.
However, in the early hours of Monday (10th) this week, the driver managed to escape and sought help at a facility on the banks of BR-376.
He called PRF, who began a search and found the abandoned car. Around 9 a.m., a 25-year-old man and a 24-year-old woman were accosted on the highway. The victim’s cell phone and cash card were also found inside. The man confessed to the crime to police.
