In a joint rescue operation carried out by multiple organizations, emergency rescue teams rescued three people, two women and one man, during mid-hours hours this Sunday. A sea rescue vessel rescued the two women. And La Palma firefighters did the same to the man.
Those affected included an 86-year-old woman with moderate hypothermia and shoulder trauma, and another 51-year-old woman with moderate hypothermia, both of whom were taken by ambulance to La Palma General Hospital. The man, on the other hand, was unharmed.
Meanwhile, the Port Police, Civil Guard, National Police and Civil Protection intervened to deploy emergency equipment.
