Neymar did not leave the field satisfied after Santos lost 3-2 to Flamengo at the Maracanã. The number 10 was substituted in the last game of the second half of this Sunday’s match (September 11), angering Peixe’s technical committee. The player complained after leaving the pitch and did not remain on the bench to observe the Sao Paulo team’s reaction.

“Are you going to take me away?” Neymar asked when he would be replaced on the instructions of the technical committee.
Santos were trailing 0-3 when Neymar was substituted and left the field. After the star’s departure, the team reacted and came within one goal of a draw against Flamengo in the closing stages of the duel in the Maracanã on Matchday 33 of the Brasileirão.
According to FIFA data, Santos and Neymar will return for the delayed match against Palmeiras in Round 13 of the Brazilian Championship. The duel will take place on November 15th at 9pm at Villa Belmiro.
