column at mira The Civil Police of Goiás (PCGO) has opened a new investigation in the state of Formosa (GO), on the outskirts of the Federal District, at the house where a six-month pregnant woman and her husband were murdered by a hooded man. The crime occurred at around 10:45 pm on Tuesday night (November 4) in the Jardim das Américas area.

On Wednesday (12/11), the Homicide Investigation Group (GIH) returned to the scene and found that there had been no break-ins at the premises. The victims were identified as Raislany da Silva Rabelo, 24, and Carlos Enrique Candido Gomez, 32.

Raisrany was found dead in his bedroom with a gunshot wound to the head. Her husband tried to escape through the front door, but was chased by the perpetrator and executed at a neighboring house.
New information says there is evidence the victim knew the perpetrator of the crime. The main suspect has already been identified by PCGO, but details are kept confidential so as not to jeopardize the investigation.
The scene was examined by the Technical and Scientific Police, traces were collected and the body was sent to the Institute of Forensic Medicine (IML) in Formosa. The investigation is still ongoing.
