Former President Alberto Fernandez said goodbye to his beloved dog Dylan, who passed away after months of health problems. The dog accompanied the former president during his four-year stay in Quinta de Olivos.
According to information that was available, Dylan lived with Fernandez in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Puerto Madero and had a walker to take him with him every day. Recently, he had been seen in the neighborhood not feeling well and having difficulty getting around.
“I probably didn’t tell you, but I was always waiting for you to arrive. You were part of my life and gave me loyalty, joy and kindness. You gave me an unconditional friendship that only some humans can give. We shared wonderful moments full of quiet peace and wonderful moments full of joy and hustle and bustle,” Fernandez expressed on his Instagram account.
He added: “These past few months you have been growing distant, and today, with great pain, I say goodbye to you. My dear friend, Dylan, thank you for all the love. I believe I have repaid it. From now on, you will escape to some paradise, where I am sure we will meet again. Goodbye, my dear Dylan!”
