Mr. Bradesco filed a judicial protest suit in the Americana (SP) Court against Marco Antonio Zanini, director of Ambipar, which has fallen into financial difficulties, and Ambipar has entered judicial recovery since October 30th. This request has already been granted by the courts, recognizing the bank’s interest in protecting its rights in the market and before third parties.
Bradesco argues in his petition that the disappearance of Ambipar’s billionaire cashier and the alleged accounting fraud could lead to personal liability for managers and advisers. This protest is a precautionary measure and is used to preserve the possibility of future action against the Group Manager.
The bank also filed a similar protest against its advisor Marcos de Mendonça Pechin, but the court has not yet ruled on the matter.
