The new phase of the No Discount Operation launched by the Federal Police this Thursday (11/13) targets former Social Security Minister José Carlos Oliveira, also known as Ahmed Mohamad. This plan was revealed by Metropoles.
He led the ministry during President Jair Bolsonaro’s government and is currently the subject of a court order to install electronic ankle monitors.

PF officials said Oliveira would need to be supervised with the approval of the Superior Court of Justice (STJ). The decision is part of a series of precautionary measures that also include searches and seizures at addresses associated with the former minister.
The operation also includes former INSS president Alessandro Stefanutto, who was arrested this morning, and federal deputy Euclides Pettersen (R-MG), who is also the subject of the search.

Stefanutto was removed as the institute’s president in April, shortly after the illegal discount scheme for retirement benefits and pensions was discovered, and he was subsequently fired.

The PF and the Union Inspector General have carried out 63 search and seizure warrants, 10 preventive arrest warrants and other preventive measures in 17 states and federal districts.
Crimes being investigated include the insertion of false data into public systems, social security fraud, active and passive corruption, criminal organizations, and money laundering.
