After debuting on social media and gaining attention on the streets, the Sin-British brand M.G. He made his official debut in Brazil. According to information from Autoesporte, the automaker plans to launch three electric vehicles – MG4, S5, and Cyberster to launch its portfolio in the country. Prices vary between R$219,800 and R$500,000, with some prices valid until November 30th.
This is the sixth Chinese automaker to debut in Brazil in about a year, the others being Jetour, Zeekr, Omoda Jacoo, GAC and Geely. MG’s business will operate independently, unrelated to the strategy the company adopted in 2011 when it partnered with Forest Trase to distribute domestically, without much success.
The various models that MG will offer on the Brazilian market have already been leaked in the Brazilian Labeling Program (PBEV) and later confirmed by Autoesporte. Options include the MG4 midsize hatch, S5 midsize SUV, and Cyberstar convertible sports car with performance that competes with Porsche sports cars.
