Three men were arrested after trying to steal power cables from a manhole in the early morning hours of Wednesday (12/11). The crime occurred at 710/711 Asa Norte (DF).
According to the Military Police Department (PMDF), a team witnessed suspicious activity during a night patrol and when they approached, they found criminal activity taking place.

One of the people involved, 34, was monitoring the area to warn of the arrival of police or residents. The second man, a 26-year-old man, fell into a manhole and severed underground power lines, while the third man waited outside to help remove the cables.
They were arrested for this act and taken to Police Station 5 (Central Area). According to PMDF, the suspects have multiple convictions for theft, robbery and drug trafficking.
