A 30-year-old Bolivian woman was arrested on suspicion of interstate drug trafficking on Wednesday afternoon, December 11, after a sniffer dog found 2.21 kg of cocaine-based paste on her body on a bus.

The vehicle was stopped by the Military Police (PM) 8th Special Police Action Battalion (Baep) at km 527 of the Raposo-Tavares motorway in Presidente Prudente, in the interior of São Paulo.
While on patrol, the dog Ravena pointed out passengers traveling from Columba, Mississippi, to the capital, São Paulo.
She confessed that she was carrying six pieces of luggage attached to her body and was scheduled to receive 1,000 reais for transportation.

According to the Secretariat of Public Safety (SSP), the case was registered at the Presidente Prudente Police Station for drug trafficking and increasing causes. Delegates expressed the transformation of this law into preventive detention.
