The new features are part of update 1.10 and are now available in-game.

Konami and developer NeoBards Entertainment have announced the arrival of update 1.10 for Silent Hill F. This adds a “casual” difficulty mode to combat, as well as an optional feature that allows you to skip parts of New Game+.

As reported, the casual level can be selected not only when starting a new game, but also when starting New Game+ mode, which will definitely help players unlock the game’s five endings faster. Those who have already played will be given the option to change the difficulty to casual after only dying a few times.

The option to skip parts of New Game+ includes content that does not affect the game’s story. After solving the Mural Puzzle in New Game+ and completing the “Go Through the Door” objective, players now have the option to skip to the section where Hinako awakens for the second time in the hallways of Dark Sanctuary.

According to Konami, this will not affect obtaining alternate passes or the game’s ending, but will prevent you from obtaining the three achievements/trophies for completing the game on History, Hard, and Lost in the Mist difficulties because parts of the game will be skipped.

This update also includes faster stamina regeneration for Hinako, fewer mandatory battles, reduced damage Hinako takes on Hard, and several bug fixes.

Silent Hill F is available on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
