Timothée Chalamet is scheduled to travel to Sao Paulo to attend CCXP 2025 to promote his new movie Marty Supreme. Directed by Josh Safdie, who also plays at pop culture events, the film uses the filmmaker’s enthusiastic signature to tell the story of a table tennis prodigy loosely inspired by player Marty Reisman who embarks on a journey to prove his worth.
The two will participate in a panel discussion on Friday, Dec. 5, at Thunder, the main stage of the cultural fair. This panel marks the debut of production company A24 and distribution company Diamond Films at the event.
Among the new features announced by the CCXP organization is a panel for “Só os Loucos Sabem,” a biopic about musician Cholan, lead singer of the band “Charlie Brown Jr.” Representatives of the participating films have not yet been announced, but this is the first time Blast! has confirmed the film’s presentation. A new space “stage” will be born this time.
CCXP also announced that the show will feature a performance by the band Fresno scheduled for Sunday, December 7th.
“Marty Supreme” will be released in theaters nationwide in January and is included in the 2026 Oscar nominations. CCXP will run from the 3rd to December 7th, including Spoiler Night, an evening for members of the press, guests, and certain qualifiers. Tickets for the event are currently on sale on the official website.
