Skateboarder Pamela Rosa, one of Brazil’s leading female street athletes, missed the Pro Tour STU Rio finals this Saturday (11/15) after suffering a severe fall during a qualifying heat at Plaza do O in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.
After her frightening crash, Pamela attempted to return to the track despite being in visible pain, but was unable to regain the performance she needed to qualify for the final. According to the STU organization, the player is in good condition.
Pamela competed in Heat 1 of the Skate Street semi-finals and finished with a score of 46.90, which was not enough to advance to the judging.

An international standard and a constant presence in the sport’s major competitions, Pamela was one of the Brazilian favorites to compete in the final.
