On December 11th, the singer and composer will arrive in Brasilia as one of the most anticipated attractions of the Estilo Brasil Festival, bringing with him a repertoire that moves between a glorious past and songs that point to the future.
The show promises to look back at his 60-year career. Iconic songs such as “Sampa”, “O Leãozinho”, “Odara”, “Vaca Profana” and “Tigresa” are intertwined with recent songs such as “Anjos Tronchos” and “Sem Samba Não Dá”, in addition to the unprecedented “Uma Baiana”, which Caetano presented as a “prayer against dark times”.

This show marks the artist’s return to the stage in a solo format after a famous tour with Maria Bethany. At 82 years old, the Bahian continues to defy time. His lyrics maintain the same wit as they did in the 1970s, but now bring the maturity of someone who observes the world with serenity and irony. On stage, he combines poetry and provocation with the naturalness of a person who turned restlessness into art.
