In an interview, Kellner, who plays one of the Clavinhos brothers, pushed back against criticism the series has received on social media that it “glorifies” the criminals portrayed in the series.
–These people have been made famous by the media, but I think the media also needs to criticize themselves. Because they always refer to the series, “because the series is epic, because the series is romantic”, and it’s not. This series talks about reality – says the actor.
Kellner said in an interview that he left the scene of Suzanne von Richthofen’s parents’ murder “completely unwell” and spent 24 hours with a migraine while documenting the murder of her parents.
When asked about the fact that Christian went public to deny that she ever wore panties in real life, as shown in the series (and later proven by Ulysses Campbell), Kellner replied:
— No, that wasn’t a surprise to me, was it? I was already expecting him to show up. I think Christian is a peacock, right? He was going to pull himself together somehow about it.
