The First Chamber of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) formed the majority to accept the complaint filed by the Attorney General’s Department (PGR) against Deputy Federal Secretary Eduardo Bolsonaro. The lawmaker is currently facing charges of extortion.
“It is impossible to commit the crime of coercion” based on actions in the United States, Eduardo Bolsonaro said in a video released before the majority was formed.
For him, the move is a political move by Minister Alexandre de Moraes to prevent the right wing from gaining a majority in the Senate in 2026.
And this is what I promised.
“We will not stop, we will not rush, we will not retreat. We will win.”
The argument also points to complicity on the part of House leadership. The House of Commons is attempting to “annoy” a process that could revoke a member’s commission for excessive absences, ignoring its own rules in favor of a colleague.
