Plaza Moreno wears colorful clothes to spend her Saturday in the sun. The event “La Plata en Flor”, which brings together plant fans, continues on the second day, and in a few minutes the celebration of the 143rd anniversary of the capital of Buenos Aires will begin.
Starting at 6 p.m., the city will be holding a musical presentation called “Piazzolla Electronico” by renowned musician and composer Nico Sorin. The show will take place on the steps of the cathedral (14 between 51 and 53), where residents can enjoy a unique experience that combines Astor Piazzolla’s tango classics with innovative electronic sounds. The proposal aims to create a contemporary homage that combines tradition and modernity within the city’s emblematic surroundings.
Participation is free and provides a unique opportunity to experience an afternoon full of music in an open and accessible environment, with staging that will surprise and excite all attendees. The show will be the opening show of Buenos Aires’ Music Week, which is organized by the city of La Plata and will be held from November 15th to 22nd to promote the cultural spirit of the capital.
In this way, for eight days residents will be able to enjoy shows in genres such as tango, folklore, rock and bolero, held in emblematic venues such as the Cathedral, the Racecourse, Plaza Moreno, the Municipal Arts Center of Pasaje d’Ardo Rocha, the Meridiano 5 Regional Station and the Teatro Argentino Regional Arts Center.
The proposal aims to encourage active participation and enjoyment of public spaces and strengthen musical culture and community bonds. Moreover, within the framework of a special week dedicated to music, we invite our neighbors to come, enjoy and share these proposals.
