To claim your prize, you must go to a lottery office in Medellín with your winning ticket and ID.
If the prize is less than P20 million, it can be claimed at any distributor in Colombia. Prize money will be transferred to the winner’s registered bank account.
Please note that winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
To win a prize in the Medellin Lottery, you must present the following documents and meet certain requirements:
Original winning ticket. Must be in perfect condition with no modifications or changes that would affect validation on game systems.
Original valid identity documents: citizenship card, white password, passport with recent entry stamp, or entry card if stay longer than 6 months.
For tickets, you must fill out the corresponding form provided by Medellin Lottery and duly fill in your personal information for the payment process.
Prize payment will be made by electronic funds transfer to the winner and the prize must be claimed within one year of ticket activation.
For prizes exceeding approximately $1,645,000, a 20% withholding tax will be applied on the value of the prize. It is also important that the winner is at least 18 years of age and that the ticket meets all technical and legal requirements to authenticate the prize.
