A traffic accident occurred in the center of La Plata this afternoon, causing concern. A young motorcyclist lost his way at the Diag intersection and fell. 77 and fig. 80, areas with heavy urban traffic.
Witnesses said the driver lost control of the motorcycle in the middle of the intersection, fell onto the asphalt, and immediately called emergency services. A few minutes later, the same ambulance arrived at the scene and provided medical assistance on the road.
Law enforcement personnel also intervened and partially blocked traffic to allow medical teams to operate and protect the area while they assessed the young woman’s condition.
The motorcyclist was treated at the scene and initial information suggests he remained conscious and was not in danger, but medical staff were considering the possibility of referral for more complex studies.
The accident caused delays in the flow of vehicles at the city’s main intersection, which is usually a hub due to the constant flow of cars and public transport.
