Sport and Flamengo will meet next Saturday (15th) at 6:30 pm (Brasilia time) at the Arena Pernambuco in a valid match in the 12th round of the Brazilian Championship.
The Pernambuco club is in a delicate situation in the standings and could be relegated if they lose to the Rio team. Additionally, León have not beaten Flamengo since June 7, 2017, when they won 2-0 against Brasileirão. Since then, the Reds and Blacks have met eight times, with seven wins and one draw for Flanders.
Sport has the worst record as a home team in this tournament. With 1 win, 7 draws, and 8 losses, they only have 20% of their points. Flamengo, on the other hand, lost only four games in the Brasileiran, two of which were away to teams Santos and Fortaleza, who are in the relegation zone.
Rio’s Lebro-Negro also missed a lot of games, with 12 absences between players called up to FIFA and injured players.
They were summoned:
- Brazil: Danilo and Alex Sandro
- Uruguay: Barrera, Viña, Alaskata
- Colombia: Carrascal
- Ecuador: Gonzalo Plata
Absent due to injury:
- Leo Ortiz (right ankle)
- Delacruz (knee)
- Alan (plantar fasciitis)
- Jorginho (pain in right thigh)
- Pedro (right forearm)
