Vox talks about ‘moderate optimism’ but sets conditions

“If this budget was so important, you should have been here today,” the spokesperson lamented. “We have until 12pm on Monday to agree to negotiate these measures and to commit to sharing them, because they are in the government’s agreement. Otherwise, there will be a total amendment.”
Mr. Box argues that this gesture must come from the president himself, as it is he who must “guarantee” that the harmony shown by Mr. Carriedo “will lead to genuine political decisions.”
While the group enters a period of reflection, the Board maintains its message of being open to dialogue. Vox has made it clear that the key to the budget process will depend not on today’s meeting, but on the public response that Manueco decides to present in the coming hours.
