What is it about?
On the 1973 album dry & wet ‘ was released and revolutionized the Brazilian music scene, along with the phenomenal performance of the group of the same name. Now, 52 years later, Nei Matogrosso and Gerson Conrad join the band’s classic lineup of musicians and lyricists to tell their story. spring us teeth – History of Sekos and MorhadosThe series features exclusive testimonies, archival images, and an emotional mosaic of collaborators and fans as a way to reconstruct the trajectory of a group that sparked an aesthetic and behavioral revolution in Brazil during the military dictatorship.
No longer able to perform the group’s best classics. These were not released. John Ricardothe third member of the original lineup — the producers decided to invite Emilio Carrera (pianist) and Willie Verdager (Double Bass Player) – The musician who was part of the band in 1973 and 1974 returned to the studio and, as a special gesture to his fans, created a new original song inspired by the sound of “Secos & Morhados” for the production.
And Gerson Conrad and Paulo Mendonça, the authors of the band’s biggest hits, brought Ney and Gerson together to create “Uvindo o Silencio.” us vocals for the song that ended the series and received a special music video. Throughout the series, they and other guests talk about the great revolution sparked by the group and the difficult relationships with former partners that led to the band’s demise.
