We live in a culture where: fatigue It has become the norm, and breaks are perceived as a luxury. However, the human nervous system is not designed to sustain constant demands without consequences. A certain amount of stress is functional. But when that changes … When it becomes chronic, it begins to affect your concentration, sleep, decision-making, and mental health.

When stress becomes constant, it becomes useless and begins to drain us. So, beyond productivity, you need to stop to regulate yourself. A short recovery period allows the body to release tension and the mind to adjust itself to work again from a clearer and more sustainable state. Conscious breathing does not change external demands, but it does change how your nervous system perceives them.
This week’s meditation invites you to stop and connect with yourself. Take a moment to come back to your body, release tension in your muscles, and allow your mind to reduce the volume of noise and restore internal balance. Happiness is not the opposite of effort, but rather what keeps you from becoming exhausted by it. And it starts with giving yourself this moment.
