More Leal’s year got off to a rocky start, with her being arrested on suspicion of insubordination, briefly released, and then back behind bars, but the young woman’s situation has become tense again in recent hours. His lawyer Martín Leiro expressed deep concerns about his client’s mental state.
“I couldn’t see Morena very well. Her condition is not good. She is in very bad condition at the scene,” he said, describing a scenario in which the young woman would be in severe pain. Leiro also acknowledged that a comprehensive assessment was required, saying: “An analysis of his emotional and financial state was requested. The situation is very sensitive.”
Leiro also revealed an episode that particularly affected him during his last visit. “When I arrived, Morena was in shock and crying because she was talking to her father,” she said, noting that family ties remain a sensitive point for her.
One of the biggest concerns for those around him is the possibility of Moa losing possession of his youngest son Amadeo. The coming weeks will be decisive in determining whether justice takes its course.
Currently housed in Magdalena’s 51st Criminal Unit, she is charged with aggravated robbery, a crime that could carry up to four years in prison.
She is kept in a shared cell in the pavilion, where she lives with Florencia Ibáñez, one of the convicts of Florencio Barrera’s triple crime. “They are friends, not colleagues. Two different cases and crimes, but both are in custody,” the lawyer explained.
