The patience of the residents of Gonet and Vila Castells is running out as water drum delivery services, a key source of supply, are constantly failing, becoming a source of frustration and risk.
Residents in the area revealed the daily struggle to get at least one can of water, and the difficulties faced by those who have to work but are unable to pick up a can because they “don’t follow” delivery schedules set by companies.
The situation gets even worse when you try to make up your schedule. The complainant reported rushing from work to the delivery location, but often leaving empty-handed. “This is the second time,” he lamented, remembering that no drums were available yesterday either.
Neighbors described the situation as “unfortunate” and called for swift action from the company responsible. “ABSA must answer to the residents of Gonet and Villa Castells.”
One of the most concerning aspects of this claim is the status of the main access to the company’s headquarters for water removal. “All the elderly come here to remove the drums. There is a chance that the drums will fall,” he explained.
Complaints also extend to weekend service. We are open on Saturdays to deliver drums, but we are closed on Sundays and deliveries are not valid. ” Considering the lack of service this Sunday, a neighbor suggested a solution: “We should at least provide two drums on the weekend.”
