Giovanna Eubank and Bruno Gagliasso are parents to Titi (12), Bless (10) and Zane (5). Having extensive parenting experience, they say they are now entering new territory as parents to teenagers, and that their eldest daughter’s new phase in life is going more smoothly than they expected.
Speaking at Ronaldo’s auction in São Paulo on Wednesday 12th this week, Eubank said: “Titi is a very calm teenager. There are changes in her behavior, but some of her friends have difficulties that we don’t.”
One of the dilemmas of raising children and teenagers today is their relationship with screens and social media, and actors have determined that their children are not yet old enough to use social media.
“When I go to my friend’s house, I look for it and they don’t have anything. Titi is curious because some of her friends already have it,” says Giovanna. Regarding his second son, Bless, Bruno said the boy doesn’t even have a cell phone and is more interested in drawing.
The actors, who are a famous couple, are concerned about exposing their lives and that of Titi, Bless and Zane. “The best way to protect yourself is to listen and show the reality. Our lives are public and they are part of it. Don’t try to hide or deceive. If you are complicit and respectful, everything will be easier,” Gagliasso analyzes.
Bruno and Giovanna emphasize that they try to have an open dialogue with their children and that for now there are no taboos between them, but that they are prepared for the moment when such things start happening.
“We’re going to go through everything that families go through, but it’s still early. There’s still a lot for us to go through,” says Gagliasso. “We have a lot of interaction with the kids, and that’s the most important thing,” Eubank concluded.
