Greenleaf, the company in charge of the operation, has shared details on social media about what is going on in rural Vasco.
Replacing the lawn of San Januario has begun. The operation is carried out by Greenleaf, the company responsible for the field at Vasco Stadium. The main purpose of the changes is to eliminate mutations that have caused the lawn to lose pigment in some areas of the field.
As revealed by Greenleaf’s technical director in a recent interview with Jogada10, Vasco is aiming for the possibility of hosting the Brazilian Cup final in Sant Januario. Despite the end of the season approaching, there were no plans to start renovations on the stadium yet, so Coach Cruz Martino decided to make changes to the pitch.
The new lawn is expected to be installed within a week. Vasco will play against Internacional on November 28th. Greenleaf ensured the fields were clean and ready.
