This Wednesday (12/11), in the Men’s Volleyball Superliga 2025/26 held at the Riacho Gymnasium in Contargem (MG), Volei Renata achieved a major upset by defeating Sada Cruzeiro in 3 sets: 19-25, 25-20, 19-25, 30-28, 15-11, 2 to 2. It was a reenactment of the last Superliga final, which the Minas Gerais team won in Ibirapuera.
With this result, Sada Cruzeiro now has 14 points (4 wins, 2 losses) from six games, unable to overtake unbeaten leader Praia Kluve, who will face Ceci Baul next Monday. Volei Renata reached 3rd place with 11 points.
Opponent Bruno Lima won the popular election and took Vivavorei home. However, he gave the trophy to young libero Bandini, replacing injured starter Luquinha.
