Salvador became the rainiest city in Brazil in the past 24 hours, according to the National Meteorological Institute (Inmet). The capital of Bahia recorded 106.6 mm this Wednesday (12/11).
Next is San Felix de Xingu (PA) with 55.6 mm and Manaus (AM) with 41 mm. Cruz das Armas, in the state of Reconcavo Sul da Bahia, about 146 kilometers from Salvador, recorded 39.2 mm, making it the fourth rainiest city in Brazil and the second in Bahia state.
