How to update medical orders step by step
To ensure diapers continue to be delivered without delay, members must follow three basic steps.
Please make an appointment with your GP
Updates must be done by a professional who tracks the member’s medical history.
Request a new electronic medical order (OME)
The doctor will load it into the system immediately. Renewal will provide an additional 6 months.
Verification of personal data
Address, phone number, and email must be updated in PAMI. If there is an error in the information, delivery may not be possible.
The organization stresses that this check is essential as deliveries are made door to door. If the information is incorrect, the delivery person will not be able to complete the delivery.
What happens if no updates occur?
If a member does not update OME by November 30th, the PAMI system will automatically cancel provisioning. This means that orders for December will not be generated. Diapers don’t arrive at homecomplications arise, especially for those who rely on this input on a daily basis.
