Madrid November 13 (Europe Press) –
Authorities in the Gaza Strip, controlled by the Islamic Resistance Movement (Hamas), on Thursday raised the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks since the ceasefire began on October 10 to 260, in line with an agreement to apply the first phase of US President Donald Trump’s proposals for the future of the enclave.
In a statement on the social network Facebook account, the Gaza Ministry of Health said that since the ceasefire took effect, 260 people have been confirmed dead and 632 injured, and 533 bodies have been recovered in areas that were previously inaccessible due to the Israeli military presence and attacks.
Similarly, he stressed that in the past 24 hours, two people were added to the death toll, one from Israeli gunfire and another whose body was found during search and rescue operations, bringing the already confirmed death toll of 69,187 and 170,703 injured from Israeli attacks.
The Israeli offensive, which has caused extensive destruction in the Gaza Strip, was launched against the enclave after an attack by Hamas and other Palestinian armed groups on October 7, 2023, which left nearly 1,200 people dead and about 250 kidnapped, according to Israeli authorities’ balance sheet.
