Timaão have lost momentum in Itaquera, having won only 23 of the 54 matches played at the Neo Quimica Arena since 2023.
The Epistle to the Corinthians no longer enjoys the same respect in Ithaquera. Over the past three years, the team’s home results have plummeted, with Corinthians having the worst record among the 14 clubs that have played in all competitions in the Brazilian Championship since 2023, according to a study by the Corinthians statistics page.
From 2023 to 2025, Timan played 54 matches at the Neo Quimica Arena, recording 23 wins, 22 draws, and 9 losses. This equates to an increase of 56%. This result left the club at the bottom of the home team rankings for the period.
By comparison, Palmeiras leads the table with 38 wins from 55 games, followed by Flamengo, Fluminense and São Paulo with 33 wins. Vasco, in 13th place, has three more wins than Corinthians in the same period.
The worst moments at home are reflected in the latest edition of the Brasileira Run. Dorival Junior’s side only appear as the 13th best home team with a success rate of 52%. In fact, the team hadn’t won in the arena for four months, with four draws and three losses in seven early games.
Itaquera’s instability is taking a heavy toll. In the end, after a good run of three consecutive wins, Corinthians wavered once again, losing to RB Bragantino and Ceará in succession, and remained in the middle of the standings.
Timan currently sits in 13th place with 42 points, 9 behind G7 and the same distance from Z4. Therefore, with three home games remaining, Corinthians’ task is to regain their starring role against Fier Torcida and end the season with signs of recovery.
