Jakarta (ANTARA) – Jaecoo Indonesia officially launched the price of its new electric car, Jaecoo J5 EV, on Monday (11/3).

With the slogan “The Real SUV”, Jaecoo’s first electric car presents itself with an iconic and modern design.

The Jaecoo J5 EV is expected to become a new choice for Indonesians looking for electric vehicles towards the end of 2025.

Jaecoo J5 EV is officially present on the Indonesian market with a capacity of five passenger seats in two variants, namely Standard and Premium.

Both are offered at quite competitive prices for the electric SUV class, namely IDR 249 million for the Standard variant and IDR 299 million for the Premium variant.

According to the official Jaecoo website, the J5 EV is equipped with an electric motor with a maximum power of 155 kW with a peak torque of 288 Nm.

Power comes from a battery with a capacity of 60.9 kWh, which is capable of covering a distance of up to 500 kilometers on a full charge (according to WLTP standards).

In terms of performance, this electric SUV is also quite responsive. Acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h takes just 7.3 seconds.

This car is also supported by features fast charging 130 kW, which allows you to recharge from 30 to 80 percent in just 28 minutes.

This makes the J5 EV suitable for everyday needs and long-distance travel without worrying about long charging times.

The Jaecoo J5 EV is also equipped with 17 safety features based on advanced technology Advanced driver assistance systems (FENNEL).

These features include Adaptive cruise control, lane keeping assist, emergency braking, blind spot detectionand a number of other active safety systems designed to support driving comfort and safety in various road conditions.

Furthermore, drivers can also choose between three driving modes suited to their needs, be it energy saving, comfort or maximum performance.

Entering the cabin you immediately feel a futuristic atmosphere through the fully digital cockpit, equipped with a 13.2-inch Full HD touch screen.

All vehicle functions can be managed via this screen, including the entertainment system, navigation and cabin temperature settings.

Jaecoo also equips the J5 EV with connectivity smartphones and AI-based voice control to provide a more advanced driving experience.

Characteristic fast wireless charging 50W is also included, so users can quickly charge their phones without cables.
