Five suspects were arrested this Thursday after being hit by stray bullets during a gendarmerie operation at Complex Jardim Catalina in Sao Goncalo, in the Rio metropolitan area. The action was carried out by police officers of the 7th BPM (São Goncalo) and is part of the company’s series of operations to counter the expansion of Commando Vermelho (CV) within the territory of Rio de Janeiro.
