Jakarta (ANTARA) – With the beginning of the month of November, the Indonesian nation once again prepares to commemorate the Heroes’ Day which falls every November 10th. In 2025, the Ministry of Social Affairs carries forward the theme “My hero, my example: keep moving, continuing the fight”.
This theme reminds us that the spirit of warriors must not stop in history, but must continue to be realized through the real actions of the current generation.
One of the most important parts of any Heroes’ Day ceremony is the moment of silence of the procession. This moment is solemnly held to commemorate the services of the nation’s heroes who died fighting for Indonesia’s independence and sovereignty.
In order for its implementation to be orderly and meaningful, the government has established official guidelines for a moment of silence to be followed during the 2025 Heroes’ Day commemoration ceremony.
Below are guidelines for observing a moment of silence during the 2025 Heroes’ Day commemoration ceremony, based on official information from various sources.
