Brasília Basquete showed its strength at home as Novo Basquete Brasil (NBB) defeated Cruzeiro 79×65 end-to-end at the Hinasio Arena BRB. As a result, the team is provisionally in 3rd place with 6 wins and 2 losses.

1st bedroom
The match started out very competitive for both teams, with many mistakes made on both sides of the court, resulting in 10 missed shots in just three minutes. Brasilia Basquete performed well on defense, reaching midway through the quarter with 8×7 on the scoreboard.
The home team scored three points and with some great usage managed to get shots on the scoreboard, maintaining a 23×13 lead.
second bedroom
Cruzeiro did even better and managed to reduce the gap to just three points, but even though the Minas Gerais team led 12-10 for half the quarter, Brasília Basquete called for time and adjusted their defense and managed to stay close again.
Brasilia Basquete dominated with masterful offensive transitions and strong defense, holding their opponents scoreless for over five minutes and going on a 14-0 run to win the quarter 25×15 and end the first half with a huge advantage of 20 points on the scoreboard, 48×28 in the game.
third bedroom
The match returned to the same pattern, with the home team maintaining good defense and preventing their opponents from getting close to the scoreboard, gaining the upper hand and controlling the game as Brasilia Basquete won 9×5 midway through the quarter.
The team from Minas Gerais improved and for the first time managed to overwhelm the opponent’s defense. However, in the final stretch, Brasilia Basquete tied the game and the quarter ended in a tie at 18 × 18, with Brasilia still holding a 20-point advantage at 66 × 46.
4th bedroom
Cruzeiro came back with a desire to complicate the game, completing an 8-0 run in the first two minutes. After Brasilia called for a timeout, the game became more rhythmic and the Minas Gerais team reached midway through the quarter with a 10×3 lead.
However, the reaction shown by the Minas Gerais team was not enough to thwart Brasilia’s strong performance.
