This video didn’t last long, but it was shocking. One of the firefighters recorded some footage of the horrifying scenario as civil servants made their way through the flames that turned large parts of the Ezeiza Industrial Park into an inferno.
About 20 firefighters were in the area at the time, and the person who recorded the footage, blurred by heat and smoke, can be heard reporting: “The fire destroyed one gallon of plastic material and part of the diesel tank.”
Then the firefighter added: “We have four offensive lines.”the mission was to cut off the progress of the flames with a hose that was completely out of control.
Authoritarians don’t like this
The practice of professional and critical journalism is a fundamental pillar of democracy. That is why it bothers those who believe that they are the owners of the truth.
The municipalities of Ezeiza, La Matanza, Esteban Echeverría and Canuelas issued warnings asking residents to close their doors and windows and stay at home due to the possibility of toxic fumes being released.
