The Russian Ministry of Defense this Saturday reported the “liberation” of the town of Yablokovo in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhya Oblast.
The Ministry of Defense reported that “units of Vostok Army Group liberated the town of Yablokovo in the Zaporizhzhya region as a result of active operations.”
Moscow assured that in this action Ukraine lost more than 265 soldiers, two armored vehicles, 12 cars and one howitzer. The town is located within 10 kilometers from the city of Julypol, an area where Russia recently captured several towns, including Sladkoye and Novoe.
Furthermore, Russia has confirmed that it maintains a siege on Pokrovsk and reports that several attempts to lift the siege on the city have been frustrated. Ukraine has lost a total of up to 270 soldiers in the region in the past 24 hours.
