The 26-year-old victim was found near the railway tracks at Bairro Km3. police investigate murder case
On Friday night, the 14th, a 26-year-old young man was found dead in Santa Maria. The victim, identified as Adriel dos Santos Costa, was found by a military brigade team at around 9:30 p.m., lying on Calle Adaão Moreira, near the Bairro 3km railway line.
Civilian police arrived at the scene and found the young man suffering from a gunshot wound to the head. The area was isolated for the work of teams from the Institute of Forensic Sciences (IGP) and the Homicide and Personal Protection Police Department (DHPPP).
Sam was already pronounced dead before security forces arrived. The body was taken to Angelus Funeral Home. During the search, investigators seized a .380 caliber ammunition casing, which will be analyzed during the investigation.
Civilian police have launched an investigation to determine the perpetrators and circumstances of the crime.
