It’s been a busy day at the company’s Fourth Street headquarters, awaiting the election that will elect a new board to replace Mariano Cowen. Following the players’ strike, the health team now claims that the players have not been paid since July.
They said through a statement on social networks: “We once again ask everyone to express our deep displeasure not only at the repeated non-payment of salaries for part of July, all of August, September and October, but also at the lack of proposals to resolve this situation in the future.”
“We will continue to be present and provide answers in a variety of situations involving personnel working in all fields, even though we intend to always continue to address issues, raise questions and always carry out tasks that go beyond the field of sport,” they added.
“Despite sending a formal notice more than 72 hours ago warning that we would be forced to cease medical operations if payment was not made, not only did we fail to respond appropriately, but last week we decided not to comply with the same with our medical team as we settled debts with our remaining workers through September,” the scathing statement continued.
They said that given the adversity facing this part of the club, they have not received a salary for four months but assure them that they will be careful.
