Estevan once again put on the Selecao shirt and was decisive. This Saturday afternoon (15th) in London, the young striker scored the opening goal in Brazil’s 2-0 victory over Senegal, making it his fourth goal in 10 appearances for Brazil.

When the final whistle blew, he was still on the pitch and received a hug from Carlo Ancelotti, who once again supported him from the start of the game.

— He gave me a little hug and said congratulations, right? A man with countless titles and an important resume (Ancelotti). I’m glad God put him in my life. Great trainer, talks to me every day, gives me advice and helps me a lot — said the attacker.

Estevan scored the first goal early on. The play started with a nice attacking move, culminating with a precise pass that set him free inside the area. In the end, he made a solid cross shot and scored a beautiful goal. Then, before the break, Casemiro completed another team’s attack to increase their advantage.

— Things are happening. It has always been my dream to represent the national team. That’s the best phase for me. keep working every day – he said.

Estevan commented that internal competition for vacancies is positive and motivates everyone to seek advancement. He underlines how much he dedicates himself to wearing the Selecao shirt, which he considers to be something very special. For the young striker, competition is part of the process as long as he remains humble. According to him, joining the group is an indescribable experience.

Brazil’s attacking line-up for this match included Estevan, Rodrigo, Matheus Cunha and Vini Junior. Manager Ancelotti is expected to encourage changes in his team for the match against Tunisia, which will be held in Lille, France, next Tuesday (18th).
