This Saturday morning (11/15), a bus operating in a rural area of San Sebastian (DF) lost its brakes, causing a series of damage along the area’s main street. Around 10:30 a.m., an out-of-control car knocked down a palm tree in the median, collided with another car, and also crashed into a building materials store near a gas station.

According to the PMDF, the driver reported that the brake system had failed shortly before the collision and he lost control of the vehicle. DF Fire Department (CBMDF) reported that teams were called to assess the situation at the scene immediately after the incident and assist those involved, but no one required assistance.
There were no injuries, only property damage to the store and affected vehicles. The area has been quarantined for safety and concerned persons have been advised to register a case at the police station to investigate the facts.
