The tip came from a trainer who spent the weekend at the home and warned the dog could have hearing problems. Tony and his wife Rhydian took Zeka for tests.

Tony Ramos also lamented the loss of his other dog, Mel, during the pandemic on September 6, 2020, saying he would “forever be a dog dog.”
He said the grief was so great that he didn’t plan on getting a new dog until the nurse caring for his mother-in-law offered two of her littermates, the aforementioned Zeka and her sister Eva.
