With this result, he will return to the number one spot in the ranking this Monday (10/11). Recently, the Spaniard lost to Jannik Sinner. Currently, there is a 1050 point difference between the 22-year-old tennis player and second place.
He also committed taboos. The Spaniard had lost on debut to Alexander Zverev and Casper Roode respectively in his last two tournaments. Alcaraz and de Minaur will return to the court this Tuesday (11/11), but the time and opponent have not yet been announced.
