Day 3 of STU Rio saw great performances in the Street and Park semi-finals. Brazil achieved important results in all tactics, including highlights from Raikka Ventura, who was the best in the women’s park, and Raissa Real, who led the Heat in the street. In the men’s category, names such as Pedro Barros, Giovanni Viana and Lucas Rabelo also secured their places with this Sunday’s decision (11/16).
Women’s Park: Raikka Ventura shines
The first competition this Saturday (11/15) was the Women’s Skate Park, and it was Brazilian Laikka Ventura who stole the show, winning heat one with a score of 87.88, beating out favorite Skye Brown who advanced with a score of 84.00. Raikka secured a place in the final as one of the highlights of the semi-finals.
Another Brazilian in contention, Isadora Pacheco, was eliminated in heat two, leaving Japanese Mizuho Hasegawa in first place with the day’s highest score of 89.42. As a result, Brazil will only have one representative who will be able to participate in the category finals.

Men’s Street: 4 Brazilians advance to the finals
Next, it was time for the men’s street semi-finals, and Brazil’s dominance was evident. Of the six players who advanced to the finals, four represented Brazil.
In Heat 1, Argentine Mauro Iglesias came first with a score of 66.65, followed by Brazilian Gabriel Aguilar who secured his place with a score of 61.75.
Heat 2 was dominated by Giovanni Viana with a score of 73.37, the highest score of the entire semi-final. Lucas Rabelo took second place with a score of 63.85.
Marcelo Batista took second place in Heat 3, finishing last behind Peru’s Angelo Caro, who advanced with a score of 74.69.

Women’s Street: Raissa wins heat, Brazil advances to four finals
After today’s women’s competition, the women’s street competition ended with a strong Brazilian presence and a solid performance from Raissa Real, who maintained the leading role she had already shown in the qualifying stage and easily won her heat with a score of 76.06.
A total of four Brazilians made it to the finals, including first heat leader Gabriela Mazetto and Isabeli Avila, who also qualified.
The sad part of this controversy was the elimination of Pamela Rosa, who suffered a severe fall, competed in severe pain, and was unable to reach the points needed to advance.
Australian Chloe Covell, one of Raissa’s main opponents in the title race, also qualified by winning her heat with 67.82 points.

To conclude the day, the men’s park presented one of the strongest semi-finals on the circuit, with very high scores, very perfect laps and Brazil’s dominance.
The highest overall score went to Pedro Barros with a score of 91.65, reaffirming his skill level and strength in this sport. Brazilians Augusto Akio, Luigi Cini, Pedro Carvalho and Gui Couri also advanced with over 90 points.
