Congressman Nicolas Ferreira (PL-MG) will take part in an event with State Representative Ana Campagnolo (PL-SC) in Santa Catarina next Friday (11/21) amidst the right-wing crisis in the state. According to the Minas Gerais state congressman, this will be the launch of a book written by the duo, and there will also be a signing session. Both have recently been the subject of criticism from Bolsonarist supporters.
Nicolas was targeted by Federal Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP) last week. The son of the former president of Planalto published a message on his network accusing politicians in Minas Gerais of trying to eliminate his father.
“The fight on the right that everyone is watching is simple. Mr. Nicolas wants to get rid of Mr. Bolsonaro once and for all. He is leading the opposition movement, and several young politicians are working with him. The question? It’s the usual: ‘Get the voters out.’ We must get rid of Mr. Bozonaro without losing anything.”They want to remain elected by Bolsonaro supporters, but they no longer want to be responsible to Bolsonaro,” the publication published by Eduardo said.

The pre-candidacy of Santa Catarina state senator Carlos Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) has triggered the crisis. Campagnolo was called a liar by Bolsonaro’s children when he said the state’s two PL seats in the Senate had already been promised to Deputy Caroline De Toni (PL-SC) and Senator Esperidian Amin (PP-SC).
The deputy also took a stand against the candidacy of former President Jair Bolsonaro’s son (PL), saying he would only support local names for the Senate despite coming from the former president’s support base.
Unlike the vice president, Mr. Nicholas has avoided speaking publicly about the issue. The lawmaker, considered one of Bolsonaro’s key allies, has previously been accused of failing to use his social media profile to the former president’s advantage.
