Harry Potter movie director launches new series ‘More of Same’
The most profitable Harry Potter movie is Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2, the very plot that brings the story of Harry, Hermione and Ron to an end. The film’s box office revenue was approximately 1.342 billion US dollars, or approximately 7.1 billion reais.
The least profitable movie in the story
No one can say that the Harry Potter movies failed at the box office. The story did well for Warner Bros., who produced films related to the tale of the three wizards, including Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.
But the least profitable of all eight films is one of the fan favorites. For Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban, the third film in the series, producers earned just US$810 million, or about R$4.3 billion.
The film is set during Harry, Ron, and Hermione’s third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. However, there is a threat haunting the school, and his name is Sirius Black. After being imprisoned in Azkaban prison for 12 years, he managed to escape and return to take revenge on his master, Lord Voldemort.
