A man who went missing during last Friday’s storm has been found dead on the banks of the Capybaras River in São Jose dos Aucentes (RS), bringing the number of victims of the storm that hit the southern region of the country to seven. Rio Grande do Sul’s civil defense agency said the deaths were related to the same weather phenomenon that caused three tornadoes in Paraná state, one of which was classified as F3 with wind speeds of up to 330 km/h, and another three in Santa Catarina state.
