Three women were killed in a traffic accident in San Vicente on the Sao Paulo coast this Sunday morning (9th). The driver of the car was arrested for being under the influence of alcohol.
According to the SSP (Secretariat of Public Safety), businessman Rui Barboza Neto, 26, was driving an Audi Q5 worth 240,000 reais when he lost control of the car, hit a tree and fell into a river.
Louie’s defense team was contacted but did not respond until the report was published.
The victims were identified as Geovana Ramos Reis, 26, Vitoria Gómez Maximino da Silva, 22, and Bianca de Blas Feitosa Pinto, 25.
A fourth passenger, hairdresser Nicole Cowan de Moura Fogaza, 22, suffered minor injuries and was taken to the emergency room, where she was released. Louis was also treated and released.
According to the police report, Nikoli was leaving the concert hall when Giovana asked her to get in the car with his cousin Louis.
Nicollie said she didn’t know anyone else in the car other than Giovana. The bulletin also said Nicolee reported that she noticed Louis exhibiting signs of intoxication and driving at a high rate of speed.
She said she stayed awake the entire trip and watched the moment he lost control of the car and was unable to negotiate the curve. The vehicle then fell into the river.
According to preliminary reports, the hairdresser said she managed to escape after the car filled with water and someone broke the window.
Military Highway Police said the businessman was speeding too much when he crossed the river, hit a tree and fell.
Police said Louis showed obvious signs of intoxication, including slurred speech, an odor of alcohol and confusion.
The businessman took a passive breathalyzer test and received a positive result. This test does not require the driver to blow, and the device is placed close to the driver. He refused to take traditional tests.
Louis was arrested on suspicion of murder. He had a detention hearing this Monday (10th) and his red-handed arrest was changed to a preventive arrest.
